Nesta comunicação vamos equacionar questões relativas à nova geração de e-Learning que é já conhecida como e-Learning 2.0 ou social e-Learning. Analisaremos o potencial educativo das ferramentas que resultaram da evolução no paradigma da Web para a Web 2.0, discutindo as suas virtualidades no apoio ao ensino e à formação ao longo da vida e no desenho de novos modelos para o mundo virtual da e-formação e do e-ensino, quer estejamos a falar ao nível da formação profissional, quer ao nível da escolaridade básica. Num cenário de e-Learning 2.0, a ideia será esbater e eliminar barreiras físicas, sociais e culturais e levar o conhecimento a qualquer lugar quer seja na empresa ou em casa, proporcionando maior gosto e motivação pela aprendizagem e aproximando as pessoas pela criação de comunidades de aprendizagem que partilham os mesmos gostos e interesses.

In this communication we consider issues relating to the new generation of e-Learning is now known as e-Learning 2.0 or Social e-Learning. Review the educational potential of the tools that resulted in the development paradigm of Web 2.0 for the Web, discussing its potential in supporting the education and lifelong learning and the design of new models for the virtual world of e-training and e-education, whether we are talking about the level of training, either at the level of basic schooling. In a scenario of e-Learning 2.0, the idea is blur and eliminate physical barriers, social and cultural knowledge to lead anywhere either in business or at home, providing greater motivation for learning and love bringing people and the creation of communities of learning that they share the same tastes and interests.
